Giving Up Is Not An Option When Seeking Golf Sponsors

By Donald Saminski

All of us suffer, but going through is the key to finding golf sponsors ...

You know the saying ... "What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger", but I'm not sure I want to go through a bout with cancer just to say I'm stronger. I am very content with profiting from the insight of those who courageously fought through cancer and shared their perspective to motivate and inspire me through my current struggle.

When I talk to golfers who have pretty much thrown in the towel on their golf dreams of playing at the highest level it hurts, because they didn't fight long enough to experience what could easily have been.

It reminds me of the epic tale in the The Book of Exodus from the Bible of how Moses leads the Israelites out of Egypt and through the wilderness to Mount Sinai, where God reveals himself and offers them a Covenant: they are to keep his torah (i.e. law, instruction), and in return he will be their God and give them the land of Canaan.

Many golfers have no vision of where they desire to go thus they have no restraint on their life; meaning there are no boundaries that were set to keep them on track to achieving their goals. They are going through the wilderness which is symbolic of their struggles and tribulations, but they have not situated a system or routine that they can reckon in pressure moments.

Why do you think golfers have a routine? It is so they can train their sub-conscience to perform consistently in any situation. It gives the golfer a sense of control and predictability of the desired outcome.

Wilderness Experience

If you noticed the Israelites were lead through the wilderness before God reveals himself to them and offers them a covenant. Golf Sponsors won't offer you a covenant (sponsorship) if you will find no proof you have undergone the wilderness or through the fire of life and been purified of the weak mindset that has caused so many before you to quit.

The valleys have to show up in order for you to appreciates the Mount Sinai's of your life. In the catbird seats you can see things clearly and your vision is unobstructed.

Never quit you pursuit of golf sponsors and never let anyone tell you you don't have what it takes to make it in golf or in life.
