Deadpool & the Ways He Could Use an Online Marketing Company

By Rob Sutter

Deadpool stands strong as a comic book character, though one can argue that he hasn't been given a great deal of attention. This mercenary in particular, created by Marvel, is one who's only had one movie role in "Wolverine." In all other Marvel-focused movies, Deadpool has not been seen. It's sad to say that this highly unique character has been underutilized and I believe an online marketing company could help him find the success he needs in order to raise his level of popularity.

If I could describe Deadpool in a sentence, I'd have to say that he's, "a lot like Spider-Man except with much more attitude." He's someone who doesn't take the role of superhero - if you can call him that - entirely serious and it goes to show in the way that he speaks down to his adversaries. It's also worth noting that he has a tendency to break the fourth wall and address the audience reading the comic books. It's a character that's not seen often, which makes him special.

In fact, I think that his most notable role outside of comic books and the "Wolverine" movie has to got to be in the "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" video games. As the same suggests, heroes and villains from the Marvel universe gather together, facing off against one another in teams so that they can join forces. Deadpool stands on the heroic side and his funny quotes and overall attitude is always on display. One has to wonder why such a personality has gone unnoticed.

I think that an online marketing company has all of the capability possible and it could be used to benefit Deadpool, too. There are several reasons for this and a reputable company such as fishbat would find that the mercenary could utilize the services, too. There are plenty to speak of, amongst them being reputation management which would work to highlight only the mercenary's good points. Deadpool still needs the exposure and the company can make certain that he receives exactly that.

This particular character does stand out from the rest, which could make universal acceptance hard for him. He's more gruesome with his use of firearms and swords, which may not make him the most child-friendly of Marvel superheroes. In addition, I can see parents being turned away by the character's language and the possibility of children picking it up. However, he is a fascinating character and one that can make the best use of online marketing if he so desires.
