Time for Paperboy to Get City Bike Improvements

By Rob Sutter

Cars, dogs, and spirits alike, each of them seem to share a common trait. I'm sure that, for the gaming masses, "Paperboy" instantly sprung to mind. It's a game where people are challenged to perform the delivery of newspapers and the avoidance of hazards like these and then some. It seems like there is a lot of danger to be had but I have to believe that the Paperboy himself can gain some assistance on the matter. His city bike could stand to use several improvements and I hope that he takes these up.

Paperboy seems to have raised the ire of many a wild entity but for what reason? To me, he just wants to do his job without much in the way of trouble. Try as he might, he can't seem to avoid such hazards as phantoms coming up on his trail. It's hard to perform the job then, to put it lightly, and I have to believe that outside of this wild job, Paperboy stopped during his route and wondered just where he went wrong when it came to choosing jobs.

Paperboy definitely needs to make changes and I feel as though these kinds of choices could be made to the city bike he possesses. It's easy to get around on this bike but do you think that it's going to come in great handy when traversing a dangerous route? One step he could take is to amplify the speed that his bike, supported by entities such as Linus Bike, can travel that. He might miss a couple of houses but those who can't seem to leash their dogs deserve whatever they get, in my mind.

Throughout the many routes Paperboy takes, he makes a number of jumps, whether they are over fences or above potholes. Whatever the case may be, I feel as though this action could utilize a booster. He wouldn't even have to put in as much effort on his part if he could implement said booster as he ascends a slope before launching off of it. This would leave Paperboy with the vitality to pedal forward and less energy would be spared on his part.

I can't help but feel sympathetic towards Paperboy because he just wants to do his job when you get down to it. He has to contend with so many forces, though - natural or otherwise - which only makes the job tougher. In order to take care of such problems, though, I believe that enhancements to his city bike stand to be made. The enhancements might seem like they're from another world but we are talking about a game with ghosts in a suburban area, aren't we?
