A Man on a Mission - Bontrager Started at the Bottom, and Rode His Bikes to the 'Top of the Hill'

By Marcus Coleman

Final year, I went on 181 mile bike ride, or perhaps it was 187 miles, I don't remember. When I finished I was quite tired (understatement, I couldn't stand up), and that point I don't consider I cared. Yes, I had entirely bonked, which is the equivalent of hitting the wall when operating a marathon, but on a bike.

My butt was sore, my back was sore, and my legs felt like rubber. When I lastly got off the bike, I fell over, and that was fine, as I was on the ground and I could just lay out flat. Not only was that ride an ass flattener for the duration of my ride, there were occasions when it was quite boring as properly.

When riding extended distances it's essential to maintain your bike lightweight, and maybe that's why the iPod Nano is such a cool invention. Still, it seems to me that it would be even better if some thing could be integrated into the bicycle itself. Perhaps the handlebars could turn out to be an antenna for satellite radio, or the complete device could fit within the handlebars, an iPod bicycle so to speak, yes, I am confident the engineers in the research department at Apple have already regarded this, and maybe have not pursued it due to the smaller quantity of units they could sell in the end.

Nonetheless, it is not just about music either, as you get really lonely out there by yourself on a solo lengthy-distance bike ride. A hundred miles takes all day, for those who are brave adequate to go further, it seems to take forever, and there is small if any human interaction. Human interaction is some thing that persons have to have. Thus perhaps a built-in iPod, or similar system could have a series of various kinds of audio companionship channels or functions, such as College LecturesTV News SegmentsMotivational SongsRandom Conversations in
