Lifted Golf Carts Are At Home Off The Course Too

By Roy Hodges

Golf is a relaxing sport whether you play yourself or simply watch the game. You may have noticed some players are using a different type of golf cart then others. These carts stand taller and seem to be larger than regular carts. These are called lifted golf carts, and they are becoming quite popular among golfers and others as well.

Lifted carts have caught the interest of many individuals because they allow for heavier loads and a much easier mode of access for those with limited mobility. These carts sit quite a bit higher than their regular counterpart, so getting in and out of the essential golf cart has gotten a lot easier.

Lifted vehicles are also used on certain heavy golf courses which have heavy terrain. Not all courses are laid out in a smooth rolling fashion. In fact some of the more difficult professional courses are well suited for these vehicles.

Groundskeepers routinely scour the course to maintain the grounds. Equipment which cannot be physically carried is often carted about in the more heavy duty lifted carts. They can carry heavier loads and are often quite a bit larger in size than a regular cart. This makes it easier for the groundskeepers to do their job quickly and efficiently.

The lifted cart has also found wild popularity among those individuals who do a lot of gardening. Gardeners love the extra height of the vehicle which makes transporting their gardening utensils and fertilizer much easier. You have probably spotted a few golf carts yourself at private homes being used in this manner.

As you can see lifted golf carts are not just meant for the course. These sturdy vehicles have many applications and are selling quite well. It may be time you looked into purchasing one for yourself.
