The Advantages Of Free Blackjack

By Sam Davis

I am going to speak for a few minutes about why it is best to play blackjack for free before you play for real money. The idea of going straight in and playing for real money is very tempting for lots of people, but it will be a good decision to play for free first.

For a start, blackjack is a very complicated casino game to play and you will end up making bad decisions if you play with not much experience. It will be a costly mistake if you are playing for real when this happens, hence why it is always a good idea to play for free first.

Also a good reason is the fact that you will need to test various blackjack strategies out before using them for real. A blackjack strategy actually has two different sides to it, the betting amounts and the decision making.

What I mean by decision making is deciding if you should stand hit, or double down on the next hand. The decisions that you make will be based on what your card combinations are, and what the combinations of the dealer's cards are. There is either the opportunity to invent your own decision making process, or search online for a strategy card.

No matter what path you choose, always ensure that you test out your ideas for free before you do anything else. Then there's the betting amount to think about, the decision making process only helps you to decide what to do with your hands, it doesn't tell you how much to actually bet.

If you simply stick to using a flat betting system, where for each hand you bet the same amount, you will most likely lose. This is because you will need to win more hands than you lose and there isn't much chance of that happening.

There are a variety of patterns that you can use also, some examples include, the Fibonacci, the Martingale and the D'Alembert. You can get hold of all of these free of charge on the internet, but as always before you play with real money, they should all be tested for free first.
